Gembira Loka Zoo

Gembira Loka Zoo is the largest zoo in Yogyakarta, covering approximately 20-22 hectares. Since 1956, PT Buana Alam Tirta has managed the zoo, and half of its grounds are a protected forest. The zoo features a wide variety of animals, including elephants, reptiles, poultry, penguins, and birds. Visitors can also enjoy attractions such as speedboat rides, Katamaran boats, and a shuttle service.

• Weekday Ticket: IDR60.000 per person
• Weekend Ticket: IDR70.000 per person
• Kids under 70 cm and the elderly over 70 years get free admission.
