Antangin Tour de Ambarrukmo 2025 is getting closer to its flag-off on Saturday, August 2, 2025. In celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, Tour de Ambarrukmo carries the theme “Pejuang Pantang Tumbang,” symbolizing the spirit of the participant cyclists in completing the journey and providing strong support for ecosystem tourism in the Yogyakarta area, all wrapped in a cycling experience and fun.
Sticking with Antangin as the official primary sponsor supporting the Tour de Ambarrukmo 2025. There will be a total of 1,200 participants from all over Indonesia, and internationally from Australia & Singapore.
In its 7th year, the Tour de Ambarrukmo offers two main categories: regular and race. The Race will generally be around 138 kilometers long and will cover urban, rural areas in Kulon Progo, coastal areas in Bantul, and the heritage area of Prambanan Temple.
At the Tour de Ambarrukmo press conference on July 12, 2025, Indra Gunawan from Tour de Ambarrukmo said that this is a concrete example of the Ambarrukmo Group‘s support for the sports tourism movement in Yogyakarta. “Based on demographic data, it appears that 85% of the participants in the 2025 Tour de Ambarrukmo will be participants coming from outside Yogyakarta,” he said.
Tour de Ambarrukmo will take place on Saturday, 5:45 AM (Western Indonesian Time) in the outdoor area of Plaza Ambarrukmo. Race packs can be collected from July 31 to August 1, 2025, at the Race Village, Main Atrium, Plaza Ambarrukmo.
