Tumurun Private Museum

Distinguished private art museum located in Surakarta (Solo), Central Java, Indonesia. Established in April 2018 by the Lukminto family—founders of Sritex, one of Asia’s largest textile manufacturers—the museum showcases a vast collection of over 150 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, installations, and antique cars. The name “Tumurun” signifies the act of passing down knowledge and culture to future generations, reflecting the museum’s mission to preserve and share Indonesia’s rich artistic heritage.
