1. Coast to Coast Night Trail Ultra

The Coast to Coast Night Trail Ultra 2026 will take place on February 14-15, 2026, and is hosted by the Trail Runners Yogyakarta community. Since registration opened on October 26, 2025, more than 5,500 runners from around the world have signed up.
The event offers several categories: 100K, 80K, 50K, 30K, 15K, 7K, and a 4-person 100K relay. CTC Ultra has become an annual sports event in Yogyakarta that many look forward to. The race day next week is now the biggest celebration for trail runners across the country.
Registration closed last December, but you can still enjoy the excitement along the track at Depok Beach, Bantul. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of Coast to Coast, with special activities planned. Don’t miss one of the biggest events in February!
2. Pekan Budaya Tionghoa Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Chinese Cultural Week)

Pekan Budaya Tionghoa Yogyakarta, or PTBY, is an annual week-long celebration of Chinese culture held during the Chinese New Year. In 2026, PTBY will mark the Year of the Fire Horse with the theme “Warisan Budaya, Kekuatan Bangsa.” This theme highlights how cultural values passed down through generations are not just memories from the past, but a key part of shaping identity, building unity, and supporting national growth.

3. Yogyakarta City 10K Race

The Yogyakarta City 10K Race (YKC10K) will take place in February 2026 and offers only 10K running categories. The route goes through the city centre, with the race starting between 5 and 6.10 AM. Runners have until 6.10 AM to finish, and over 1,000 people are expected to join and try to complete the course within 70 minutes.
Yogyakarta is known for its lively sports scene and strong sports tourism. Many locals enjoy running, and different groups often organize fun races. Life From the Corner of My Room is a solo art exhibition by Laksamana Ryo, better known as RYOL. He is an artist from Yogyakarta who focuses on visual art inspired by pop culture. Over the years, RYOL has developed his artistic vision through his work in this field. One of his standout pieces is the main poster for Linkin Park’s “From Zero World Tour 2025” in Jakarta. 10. Soundscape of Serenity – Sojourn Album Launch by Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo

Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo has just released a new album called “Sojourn.” Ambarrukmo created this project to offer listeners a calming, immersive musical experience. By blending diverse cultures and musical styles, Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo aims to help people express themselves and feel more connected to the world.
“Sojourn” will make its debut at the “Soundscape Serenity” event, which includes a sound healing and meditation session. The event is held with Remen Jawi and the Borobudur Authority Agency (BOB). Guests will be the first to hear the album, played live as a DJ set.
